Question 1

How does Mixidoo convert recipes?

Accepted Answer

Mixidoo reads the techniques, ingredients and timings, then turns them into Thermomix instructions with suitable speeds, temperatures and steps.

Question 2

Which recipe websites are supported?

Accepted Answer

More than 400. If a site publishes structured recipe data (schema.org/Recipe), Mixidoo can usually import it automatically. Paste the URL and we'll tell you if it works.

Question 3

What is Cookidoo integration?

Accepted Answer

Cookidoo is the official Thermomix recipe platform. With a paid plan, you can send a converted recipe to your Cookidoo Created Recipes collection without retyping it.

Question 4

Are my Cookidoo credentials safe?

Accepted Answer

Your login is used once to establish the connection. Mixidoo then stores an AES-256 encrypted refresh token, never your Cookidoo password. You can disconnect and remove the token at any time.

Question 5

What's included in each subscription tier?

Accepted Answer

Free includes 3 conversions and 3 Cookidoo uploads per month. Home Cook includes 15 of each; Chef includes 50. Both paid plans include dietary adaptations and free portion scaling.

Question 6

What counts as a conversion?

Accepted Answer

Importing a recipe URL and making an AI-powered dietary adaptation each use one conversion. Scaling portions is free on Home Cook and Chef.

Question 7

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from your account page and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Question 8

Can Mixidoo adapt recipes for dietary needs?

Accepted Answer

Home Cook and Chef can adapt recipes for needs such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan or vegetarian cooking. Each dietary adaptation uses one conversion; portion scaling is free.

Question 9

Why can't Mixidoo read a recipe from some websites?

Accepted Answer

Some websites block automated reading. Mixidoo will tell you when extraction fails; try the same dish on another recipe site.

Question 10

What if a conversion doesn't turn out right?

Accepted Answer

Always review ingredients, timings, temperatures and speeds before cooking. Paid plans can revise the converted recipe, and your feedback helps improve Mixidoo.

Question 11

Does Mixidoo work with Thermomix TM7?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Mixidoo creates Cookidoo-compatible recipes for TM5, TM6 and TM7 and adapts instructions to the selected model.

Question 12

Who owns the recipes I convert?

Accepted Answer

The original creator does. Mixidoo claims no rights over source recipes. Check the source website terms, use conversions personally and respect the work of recipe creators.

Question 13

Is Mixidoo affiliated with Thermomix or Cookidoo?

Accepted Answer

No. Mixidoo is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vorwerk. Thermomix® and Cookidoo® are registered trademarks of Vorwerk International AG.
